Much of the best Grid technology available today is from the Open Source
community. The Grid Consortium provides installation, configuration and
support for these technologies. If the best Grid technology is a
commercial product, we have relationships with those vendors and can
provide the products and support to you. If there is a choice between
Open Source and commercial technologies, we will present you with the
trade-offs, make recommendations, then you decide.
